Student Chapters
SHPE Chicago has partnered with 10 local SHPE Student Chapters:

- Northern Illinois University (NIU)
- Southern Illinois University (SIU)

relationships are managed through the VP of Student Relations and Community
Affairs, Tatiana Hernandez (vp-comm@shpechicago.org),
and the Region VI Student Representative, Jonathan Gomez from Ohio State University (Jonathan.Gomez@shpe.org).

MentorSHPE Program
SHPE Chicago has partnered with the student chapters to create a mentorship program. The objective is to promote the positive exchange of information and experience between SHPE professionals and SHPE students.
The program is designed so that your and your mentee communicate at least once a month, however you can tailor the relationship to your schedule and your mentee's needs. There will be some networking events programmed throughout the year so you can meet with your mentee.
